Axis Camera Station - Triton ULTRA Integration Guide

Axis Camera Station Integration Link

Step-by-Step Integration Highlights

1. Windows 11 Preparation

Create a Local User: Create a new Windows account named "tritonultra" with a secure password.

Note: This account must be a local user without a Microsoft account for simple authentication.

2. Axis Camera Station Configuration

Permissions: Add the "tritonultra" user to Axis Camera Station under User Permissions and assign the Administrator role.

Action Rules: Create a "New" action rule and select "External HTTPS" as the trigger.

Capture URL: Name the trigger (e.g., "vape") and copy the unique populated URL generated by ACS.

3. Triton ULTRA Web UI Setup

HTTP Settings: Navigate to Platform Integration > HTTP Settings.

Server field: Paste the ACS URL (excluding everything after /Activate Deactivate Trigger?).

Authentication: Set Auth Method to "Basic Auth" using the Windows "tritonultra" username as the Auth Key and its password as the Auth Value.

Action Settings: Enable the "HTTP Set" checkbox for each event you wish to sync with Axis.

Pro-Tip:

Axis Camera Station requires the sensor to communicate with a valid Windows user. If the integration fails during the "Test" phase, ensure the Windows user "tritonultra" isn't locked out and that your firewall allows traffic on the ACS port (typically 55752 or 443 depending on your HTTPS settings).
