exacqVision - Triton Cloud Integration
This guide walks through how to integrate Triton Cloud with exacqVision. Once configured, Triton sensor events will bookmark cameras and trigger events in exacqVision when an alert is detected, allowing security operators to quickly pull up associated video footage. For a visual step-by-step walkthrough with screenshots, follow the Scribe guide linked below.

What do I need before starting?
- A Triton Cloud account with your sensors already added
- An exacqVision server — installed, licensed, and accessible via a public IP address or domain
- The server's public IP address or domain, port number, and protocol (HTTP or HTTPS)
- Login credentials for your exacqVision server
- The server name as configured in exacqVision
Step 1: Authenticate Triton Cloud with exacqVision
- Log in to Triton Cloud and navigate to the exacqVision integration page (or go directly to app.tritonsensors.com/client/integration?current=exacq).
- Enter the public IP address or domain of your exacqVision server. Do not include the protocol (http:// or https://) — just the address (e.g., hybrid.exacq.com or 192.168.1.1).
- Enter the port number. If your server doesn't use a custom port, enter 443 for HTTPS or 80 for HTTP.
- Select the protocol (HTTP or HTTPS) that matches your exacqVision server configuration.
- Enter the username, password, and server name you use to log in to your exacqVision server.
- Click Save or Authenticate.
Step 2: Map Cameras to Triton Sensors
After authenticating, map each Triton sensor to the camera(s) you want bookmarked when that sensor triggers an alert. Enter the camera information for each Triton Device ID on the integration page, then click Save.
Step 3: Run a Test
- Click Run Test on the integration page.
- Select a device that has a camera associated with it.
- Choose a trigger type from the dropdown.
- Click Run Test.
- Confirm the test runs successfully. If it doesn't, troubleshoot based on the error message — common issues include incorrect IP addresses, wrong ports, or firewall rules blocking traffic between Triton Cloud and the exacqVision server.
Troubleshooting tips
- Authentication fails: Double-check the IP address/domain, port, protocol, and credentials. Make sure the exacqVision server is publicly accessible from the internet (or that the appropriate firewall/port forwarding rules are in place).
- Events don't appear in exacqVision: Verify the camera mapping is correct and that the event triggers you want are saved on the Triton Cloud integrations page.
- Connection timeouts: Confirm your firewall allows inbound traffic from Triton Cloud's external IP address to the exacqVision server's port.
