Step-by-Step Integration Highlights
1. Google Chat Preparation
- Create an Alert Space: Open Google Chat and click "Create a space".
- Space Settings: Name the space "Triton Alerts" (using the 🔱 emoji is recommended!) and set it for announcements.
- Generate Space Email: Navigate to Space settings, click "Generate email," and copy the new email address to your clipboard.
2. Triton Cloud Configuration
- Add Contact: In the Triton Cloud dashboard, navigate to Manage Contacts and click "Add".
- Link Google Chat: Name the contact "Google Chat" and paste the unique space email address you just created.
- Assign to Sensors: Select the specific sensors you want to monitor and click the "Alerts" tab.
- Set Recipients: Edit the alert settings and add your new "Google Chat" contact as an alert recipient.
3. Testing and Verification
- Confirm Link: Once saved, any triggered sensor event will automatically forward a notification to the Google Chat space.
- Team Visibility: All members added to the "Triton Alerts" space will now see real-time updates for vape, aggression, or system tamper events.
