Step-by-Step Integration Highlights

1. WAVE Sync Preparation

  • Connect System to Cloud: In the WAVE Desktop Client, navigate to System Administration > WAVE Sync and connect your local system to your Hanwha WAVE Sync account.

  • Identify Cloud System ID: Log in to the WAVE Sync Portal and select your system; the cloudSystemId is the long unique string at the end of the URL.

2. Triton Cloud Configuration

  • Update API URL: Use the WAVE Sync relay structure to allow Triton Cloud to reach your VMS over the internet: https://{cloudSystemId}.relay.vmsproxy.com/api/createEvent?source=TritonCloud&caption=%EID@TRIGGERNAME%.

  • Authentication: Ensure you use a WAVE Sync account with Administrator or Power User permissions to authorize the API calls.

3. WAVE Client Event Rules

  • Create Generic Event: In the WAVE Client, go to System Administration > Event Rules and click + Add.

  • Match Source: Set the "When" condition to Generic Event and enter the keywords sent by Triton Cloud (e.g., (vape), (Tamper), or (Aggression)) in the Source contains field.

  • Set Actions: Choose your response under the "Do" menu, such as Show Notification, Bookmark, or Start Recording on a specific camera.
