Hanwha Wisenet WAVE (WAVE Sync) - Triton Cloud Integration

This guide walks through how to integrate Triton Cloud with Hanwha Wisenet WAVE using WAVE Sync. Once configured, Triton sensor events are sent directly into the WAVE VMS, enabling real-time monitoring of Triton alerts alongside your camera feeds. Please note — WAVE Sync is required for this integration. For a visual step-by-step walkthrough with screenshots, follow the Scribe guide linked below.

What does this integration do?

When a Triton sensor detects an event (like vaping or aggression), Triton Cloud sends that event to your Wisenet WAVE system through WAVE Sync. This allows security operators to see Triton alerts as bookmarked events tied to specific cameras inside the WAVE interface — connecting sensor intelligence with video evidence in one platform.

What do I need before starting?

  • Hanwha Wisenet WAVE — installed and licensed
  • WAVE Sync enabled and connected to your WAVE system
  • A WAVE Sync account with access to sync.wavevms.com
  • A Triton Cloud account with your sensors already added
  • The Camera ID(s) from WAVE Sync for the cameras you want to pair with your Triton sensors

Tip: We recommend creating a dedicated user in your WAVE system specifically for this integration.

Step 1: Get Your Cloud System ID from WAVE Sync

  1. Open your WAVE system and navigate to System Administration.
  2. Select Wave Sync and click Open Wave Sync Portal — you'll be redirected to sync.wavevms.com/systems.
  3. Select the server your WAVE system is connected to.
  4. Copy the ID from the URL — it's the string that appears after /systems/ in the address bar. This is your Cloud System ID.

Step 2: Authenticate Triton Cloud with WAVE Sync

  1. In Triton Cloud, navigate to the Wisenet WAVE integration page (or go directly to app.tritonsensors.com/client/integration?current=wisenet_wave).
  2. Paste the Cloud System ID you copied from the WAVE Sync URL.
  3. Enter the username you use to log in to sync.wavevms.com.
  4. Enter the password for that account.
  5. Click Authenticate / Update Credentials.
  6. Confirm you see the message "Integration Authenticated Successfully" at the bottom right of the page.

Step 3: Get Camera IDs and Map Them to Triton Sensors

  1. Go back to your server on sync.wavevms.com/systems and click Cameras.
  2. Click on the camera you want to associate with a Triton sensor.
  3. Copy the Camera ID from the URL or the camera details page.
  4. Back in Triton Cloud on the Wisenet WAVE integration page, paste the Camera ID into the Camera ID field next to the corresponding Triton Device ID.
  5. Repeat for any additional camera/sensor pairs.
  6. Click Save.

Step 4: Run a Test

  1. Click Run Test on the integration page.
  2. Select a device that has a Camera ID associated with it.
  3. Choose a trigger type from the dropdown.
  4. Click Run Test.
  5. Confirm the test runs successfully. If it doesn't, troubleshoot based on the error message shown.
