View the complete Inner Range integration guide

What does this integration do?

Triton Cloud sends sensor alerts and device status to Inner Range. You can select which alert triggers to send from the integration’s settings page in Triton Cloud.

Before you begin

  • You’ll need access to both systems, the Triton Sensors integration installed or enabled in Inner Range, an integration API key, and your public IP address and connection port.

  • This integration uses HTTP, not HTTPS, and requires TCP port forwarding to an internet-accessible endpoint. Have your network administrator review and configure the connection before proceeding.

Steps:

  1. Prepare Inner Range
    1. Install or enable the Triton Sensors integration in Inner Range. Generate an API key and note the port the integration listens on.
  2. Configure the network connection
    1. Set up a TCP port-forwarding rule from your chosen external port to the local IP address and listening port of the machine running the Inner Range Triton integration. Follow the detailed guide for the required fields.
  3. Connect Triton Cloud
    1. In Triton Cloud, open Integrations > Inner Range. Select and save your alert triggers, then enter your public IP address without the http:// prefix, the external port, and the API key. Click Save.
  4. Test the integration
    1. Click Run Test, select a device, choose Vape as the trigger, and run the test. Confirm that the event appears in Inner Range for the selected sensor.
