Step-by-Step Integration Highlights
1. Add Sensor to CompleteView
-
Driver Selection: Add the Triton ULTRA sensor using the Generic -> RTSP/TCP driver.
-
Verification: The sensor is successfully added when the dashboard is visible in the preview window and the Recording Status indicator is green.
-
Camera Association: Under the Events tab, use Add Action to link sensor alarms to target cameras for Alarm Recording.
2. Triton ULTRA TCP Configuration
Navigate to Platform Integration > TCP Settings on the sensor web interface and enter the following:
-
Host IP: Enter your Salient Recording Server IP.
-
Port: Enter the designated TCP port for CompleteView events (typically 4502).
-
Set String (JSON): Copy the JSON text from the guide) ensuring you update the
deviceGuidto match the GUID shown in the CompleteView Device Info pane: -
Reset String (JSON): CompleteView requires an "alarm end" message (eventType 9) to clear status (copy text from guide)
3. Enable Actions
-
Action Settings: Navigate to Actions > Action Settings in the sensor interface.
-
Selection: Check both the Set and Reset checkboxes in the TCP column for every detection event you wish to monitor.
Pro-Tip for HubSpot:
When using TCP, Salient CompleteView requires the "Reset" string to be enabled. Without it, the device will stay in an "alarm" state indefinitely, and any subsequent vape or aggression alerts will be ignored until the initial event is manually cleared by the sensor sending the reset JSON.
