Turing Vision - Triton Cloud Integration
This guide walks through how to integrate Triton sensors with the Turing Vision platform through Triton Cloud. Turing has a native Triton Sensor integration type built into its platform, making setup straightforward. Once configured, Triton sensor events will appear as alerts in Turing Vision linked to the associated cameras. What does this integration do?
When a Triton sensor detects an event (like vaping, aggression, or a gunshot), Triton Cloud sends that alert to your Turing Vision platform. Each Triton sensor is linked to a specific camera in Turing, so operators can quickly review associated video footage when an alert fires.
What do I need before starting?
- A Triton Cloud account with your sensors already added
- A Turing Vision account with cameras configured
- Access to the Turing Vision client at ai-video.turingvideo.com
- The camera serial number(s) from Turing for the cameras you want to pair with your Triton sensors
Part 1: Add a Triton Sensor in Turing Vision and Generate an API Key
- Log in to the Turing Vision client and navigate to Device → Sensor.
- Click Add Sensor.
- Select Triton Sensor from the options.
- Generate your API key. Copy and save this key immediately — it cannot be viewed again after this screen. If you lose the key, you'll need to delete the entry and generate a new one, then update it manually in Triton Cloud.
Part 2: Connect Triton Cloud to Turing Vision
- Log in to Triton Cloud and navigate to the Turing Vision integration page (or go directly to app.tritonsensors.com/client/integration?current=turing_vision).
- Paste the API key you copied from Turing Vision.
Part 3: Map Cameras to Triton Sensors
- In Turing Vision, find the camera you want to associate with a Triton sensor and open its Camera Settings.
- Copy the camera's serial number.
- Back in Triton Cloud on the Turing Vision integration page, paste the serial number into the Camera ID field next to the corresponding Triton Device ID.
- Repeat for any additional camera/sensor pairs.
- Click Save and confirm you see a success message in the bottom-right corner.
Part 4: Register Sensors with Turing Vision
- After saving all camera IDs, click Register Sensor on the Turing Vision integration page in Triton Cloud.
- Confirm you see the "Register x sensors with Turing Vision" success message in the bottom-right corner. This step pushes your Triton sensor registrations to the Turing platform.
Part 5: Run a Test
- Click Run Test on the integration page.
- Select a device and a trigger type from the dropdowns.
- Click Run Test.
Part 6: Verify in Turing Vision
- Switch to the Turing Vision client and go to Devices → Sensors.
- Confirm that your registered Triton sensors appear in the list and that the test alert shows up under the respective sensor. Once verified, the integration is live and alerts will flow automatically going forward.
What if I lose my API key?
If the API key is lost, you'll need to delete the existing Triton Sensor entry in Turing Vision, add a new one, generate a new API key, and update it in Triton Cloud manually.
