What does this integration do?
Triton Cloud sends ULTRA alerts to your Nx system and associates them with the cameras you map to your sensors. Camera mapping is configured in Triton Cloud using Camera IDs from Nx Cloud.
Before you begin
You’ll need:
- An Nx server connected to Nx Cloud
- Your Nx Cloud username and password
- Your system’s Cloud System ID
- Camera IDs for the cameras you want to associate with sensors
- Access to the Triton Cloud account containing your ULTRA sensors
We recommend using a dedicated Nx Cloud user for the integration.
Steps
- Find your Cloud System ID
- Log in to the Nx Cloud portal and select the system your Nx client connects to. Copy the ID that appears after /systems/ in the URL.
- Authenticate in Triton Cloud
- Open Integrations > Nx Optix in Triton Cloud. Enter the Cloud System ID and Nx Cloud credentials, then click Login to NX Optix, or Update Credentials if already logged in. Confirm that “You are logged in!” appears above the login fields.
- Map cameras to sensors
- In Nx Cloud, open your system’s Cameras section and select a camera. Copy its Camera ID from the URL or camera details.
- In Triton Cloud, paste that ID into the Camera ID field beside the corresponding sensor. Repeat for additional sensors and click Save.
- Test the integration
- Click Run Test, select a sensor with a Camera ID assigned, choose Vape as the trigger, and run the test. Confirm that the test succeeds and a Triton pop-up notification appears in the Nx client.
Troubleshooting
- Cloud System ID not found or Unauthorized: Check your Cloud System ID and Nx Cloud credentials, then authenticate again.
- Device not found: Confirm that the sensor is claimed on the Triton Cloud account you’re using.
