Zenitel Connect Pro - Triton ULTRA Integration Guide

Zenitel Connect Pro Integration Guide

Step-by-Step Integration Highlights

1. Zenitel Connect Pro Preparation

  • Zenitel Link User: Create a dedicated Zenitel Link user in the Zenitel Connect Pro web interface under System > Users.

  • Integration License: Ensure your system has the required ZCL-API integration license to allow third-party communication.

  • Node-RED (Optional but Recommended): For complex audio flows, Zenitel provides Node-RED templates to process inbound Triton Webhooks and trigger specific audio messages.

2. Triton ULTRA Configuration

Depending on your preference, navigate to either HTTP Settings or TCP Settings on the sensor:

  • Option A: HTTP Webhook

    • Server URL: Enter the Zenitel Connect Pro REST API endpoint or your Node-RED listener URL.

    • Auth Method: Use Basic Auth with the Zenitel Link user credentials.

  • Option B: TCP Message

    • Host IP: The IP address of your Zenitel Connect Pro server (or ICX-510 gateway).

    • Port: Use the port designated for your generic protocol converter (typically defined in your Node-RED flow).

3. Action Settings

  • Trigger Audio: In the Triton dashboard, enable the HTTP Set or TCP Set checkbox for the events that require an audio response.

  • Automated Intervention: Map the event in Zenitel to play a pre-recorded message (e.g., "Attention: Vaping is prohibited in this area") or initiate a call to a security console.
